Get Information about Relapse after HSCT NY 2021

The  Relapse After HSCT² 2020 Workshop has been postponed to October 7-9, 2021 at the Grand Hyatt New York. We have decided to postpone the meeting as a precautionary measure due to continued health concerns and economic factors affecting our medical system in response to the COVID-19 outbreak in the U.S. and worldwide. The health and safety of our meeting attendees is our top priority.
We look forward to welcoming you to New York City in 2021.

FIFTH INTERNATIONAL WORKSHOP

Are you a medical or pediatric hematologist-oncologist, a hematopoietic stem and immune cell translational and basic scientist, a hematopathologist, physician-in-training (Fellows/ Residents/Post Docs), advance practice provider, pharmacist, oncology nurse or another associated allied health professional? If so, you should consider joining us on October 7-9, 2021, in New York City.

Relapse and disease progression are the leading causes of treatment failure for most hematologic malignancies treated with both allogeneic and autologous hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. During the last 5 years significant advances have been made in our understanding of the biology of relapse such as understanding the role of HLA loss in leukemia recurrence post-transplant. Since our 1st relapse meeting we now have three drugs approved to prevent disease recurrence post autologous transplant, and the role of FLT3 inhibitors and other TKIs to prevent relapse post allogeneic HCT is actively ongoing. Finally, the efficacy of CD 19 CAR T cell therapy for patients with disease relapsing after HCT has been firmly established for ALL and NHL.

The Fifth International Workshop on Biology, Prevention and Treatment of Relapse After Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (HSCT²)  will bring together the leaders in the field to update us on these issues as well as novel mechanisms of relapse that have recently been described and discovered. As a Workshop participant, you will benefit from the knowledge of internationally recognized speakers from a multidisciplinary, diverse group comprised of basic and translational scientists and clinical investigators. Tremendous progress in treatment research has been made over the recent past years, and we are eager to share it with you.

The Fifth International Workshop on Biology, Prevention and Treatment of Relapse After Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation and Cellular Therapy (HSCT²)  will take place at the first-class, centrally located Grand Hyatt New York in Midtown Manhattan. The Organizing Committee is working diligently to make this Fifth International Workshop a truly valuable experience for all participants. We look forward to learning alongside you and to welcoming you to the heart of Midtown Manhattan in the vibrant, captivating city of New York.
